Tonight the annual Met Gala was hosted, and the theme was the Met’s Spring 2012 Costume Institute exhibition, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations. The exhibit “explores the striking affinities between Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, two Italian designers from different eras,” according to the Met’s website.
This was the first year that the red carpet was live-streamed, although sadly I missed it due to finals week. Boo. Nevertheless, here were some of my favorite looks from the Met Gala 2012 Red Carpet. (Click the photos to enlarge!)
